The EFP artists throw each ornament individually on a potter's wheel, a rarity in ceramics because it is difficult and time-consuming to throw such small items. Any sculpting or carving is done before the ornament is fired. The ornament is then glazed and fired again before the finishing touches are added. Being individually hand-thrown and decorated, no two ornaments are exactly alike. If you would like to place an order, please give us a call at 1-888-704-POTS (7687). In most cases, ornaments will be in stock when you call. Ornaments are also available at our gallery. *Shipping and handling charges for orders of ornaments only* are as follows:** $10 for one to three ornaments; $15 for four or five ornaments. Only the ornaments that have a distinct foot can be impressed with our small mark. The Acorn and Fiddlehead Spindle I ornaments are currently unmarked. Each ornament, whether marked or unmarked, comes with an informational card that identifies Ephraim Faience Pottery and explains how our ornaments are made.
