Once thought by the Greeks to be a link between the heavens and the earth, the iris has been a symbol of hope and wisdom throughout the ages. The elongated, hand-thrown form of our Reticulated Iris Vase provides a perfect backdrop for the reaching blooms of three hand-sculpted irises. Finished in pale yellows and greens, this piece is a delicate vignette of the beginnings of the spring and summer seasons.
