POT of the Week

  • Craftsman design details make this mug a must-have addition to your Arts & Crafts kitchen. Each mug begins on the potters wheel (no slip-casting here) and is finished with a pulled handle and small sculpted details that distinguish this one from other mugs. The Craftsman Jumbo Mug is glazed in a black/grey ombre color scheme with a hint of green on the rim. We guarantee this is the mug you will be reaching for again and again! The Craftsman Jumbo Mug is available through 8 am (CST) on May 18th. Handmade to order. No two pieces of the same design look exactly alike, that’s part of the magic of handmade ceramics. Minor variations in size, decoration, color and finish are intrinsic to our pottery. Please expect and embrace the variation inherent in our process.

Handmade to order. No two pieces of the same design look exactly alike, that’s part of the magic of handmade ceramics. Because we lean away from technologies like molds, templates, and casts, each piece is wholly unique. Minor variations in size, decoration, color and finish are intrinsic to our pottery. Please expect and embrace the variation inherent in our process.

Every Tuesday morning we offer a special, limited design – vase, pot, tile, mug, bowl, jar, ornament, etc. – for one week only. The featured piece is available to order on our website for 7 days, making it an extremely limited offering.

These designs all explore something new. Some are twists on a current design, and some are entirely new pieces.  From fresh glaze combinations, to form and size variations, to new motifs, these pieces are the front lines of innovation at Ephraim. We hope that in offering the Pot of the Week, we will push the boundaries of our creativity, allow you a more transparent view of our development process – and in our true collaborative spirit, receive your feedback on which attempts you find successful.

Many do not realize the extent to which we are constantly developing new designs, methods, and glazes. Experimentation is a daily and ongoing process. Creative rigor energizes us and keeps us rushing to the kilns each morning. We hope that you enjoy this glimpse into our creative process and will be inspired to check in each week as we unveil our newest offering in real-time.
