Handmade to order. Please allow 4-6 weeks for production. Our New Frond vase is a harmonious piece perfectly suited to unify your collection. This vase celebrates the fiddlehead—on a structured and traditional Arts & Crafts form. Inspired by the historic Grueby Faience Pottery’s fern-handled vases circa 1910, we revisit the fern and leaf theme. The small, rounded New Frond vase is finished in a special Autumn Wheat glaze variation which will be available through 8 am (CST) on December 8th. Handmade to order. Please allow four to six weeks for production and delivery.
Every Tuesday morning we offer a special, limited design – vase, pot, tile, mug, bowl, jar, ornament, etc. – for one week only. The featured piece is available to order on our website for 7 days, making it an extremely limited offering.
These designs all explore something new. Some are twists on a current design, and some are entirely new pieces. From fresh glaze combinations, to form and size variations, to new motifs, these pieces are the front lines of innovation at Ephraim. We hope that in offering the Pot of the Week, we will push the boundaries of our creativity, allow you a more transparent view of our development process – and in our true collaborative spirit, receive your feedback on which attempts you find successful.
Many do not realize the extent to which we are constantly developing new designs, methods, and glazes. Experimentation is a daily and ongoing process. Creative rigor energizes us and keeps us rushing to the kilns each morning. We hope that you enjoy this glimpse into our creative process and will be inspired to check in each week as we unveil our newest offering in real-time.
