May is American Wetlands Month! Boasting around 33,000 acres of wetland, Horicon Marsh–located 50 miles north of our studio–is one of the largest freshwater marshes in the United States. Drawing inspiration from its many native plant species, as well as an abundance of creatures, the Horicon Marsh Vase shines a spotlight on one such inhabitant.  A hand-sculpted, high-relief frog sits gently perched between two floating arrowhead leaves. Our shibori glaze combination blends watery shades of yellows, greens and blues to evoke a marshy environment.

The Horicon Marsh Vase is available to order through 8 am (CST) on May 21st.

Handmade to order. No two pieces of the same design look exactly alike, that’s part of the magic of handmade ceramics. Because we lean away from technologies like molds, templates, and casts, each piece is wholly unique. Minor variations in size, decoration, color and finish are intrinsic to our pottery. Please expect and embrace the variation inherent in our process.
