Ephraim Pottery Studio Gallery began in 2007 as a small space adjacent to our studio in the old Municipal Building in Lake Mills. In 2013 we expanded this gallery into a new location – still just a stone’s throw away from our studio – facing the town square in downtown Lake Mills.

The Studio Gallery communicates closely with the studio and there is a steady flow of ideas back and forth in the form of suggestions from customers and feedback on new ideas. This gallery carries many unique pieces – product development designs, experimental pottery, second quality vases and tiles, and glaze variations. In addition, the Studio Gallery includes a workshop space where visitors can learn how to glaze a tile.

Come visit us in Lake Mills to see and feel our pottery in person. Lake Mills is about 25 miles east of downtown Madison and about 50 miles west of downtown Milwaukee. It is about a 2.5 hour drive from downtown Chicago and about 4.5 hours from the Twin Cities. Street parking is available.

Bloom_Window_Vinyl_01AIt is with great excitement that we announce our newest venture, Bloom workshop! With Bloom we now hope to share our enthusiasm for art-making through offering paint-your-own-tile workshops at our Studio Gallery in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. We invite you to join us at Bloom and get your hands in the ceramic process.

$49, 5×5 inch tile – 6 designs currently available
$35, 3×3 inch tile – 4 designs currently available
All prices include free shipping.

The tile painting process usually takes 1.5-2 hours to complete. Trained staff will be on hand to guide you through the process. After you have painted your tile, we move it to the Ephraim studio, where your creation will be fired in the next available kiln. Our kilns fire to ~2000 degrees and take 12 hours to fire and another 12 hours to cool. The end result will be a vibrantly colorful, one-of-a-kind creation of your very own. Firing and delivery typically requires approximately 1 week.

We currently can accommodate 4-6 participants at a time, so please call our Studio Gallery to schedule an appointment 920-648-3534. Walk-in participants welcome as space allows. Bloom is an open level workshop designed for all ages and abilities (adult supervision required for minors).
