The original Koi Pond Vase was released in 2007 as part of our Studio Collection. An indigo koi dives beneath the surface, its tail curving over the rim, while golden glaze at the lip suggests sunlight filtering down from above. We made just 142 of them before retiring the design in 2012.
Now it returns in miniature form: that same diving koi, that same play of light and depth—small enough to hold in your palm.

Design
- Wheel-thrown, sculpted & glazed by hand
- Approximately 3.5″H x 3″W
- No two pieces of the same design look exactly alike, that’s part of the magic of handmade ceramics.
- Because we lean away from technologies like molds, templates, and casts, each piece is wholly unique.
- Minor variations in size, decoration, color and finish are intrinsic to our pottery.
Care
- Traditional earthenware is porous; liner recommended for use with water
- To dust, simply use only a dry, soft cloth
