  • In 2024 we collaborated with Dard Hunter Studios to create a custom line of frames that highlight the beauty and craftsmanship of Ephraim Pottery. Dard Hunter Studios frames are handcrafted of quartersawn oak and finished using their four step Signature process producing a beautiful top-quality frame. Always look for the Dard Hunter Studios Rose Logo branded into the wood on the back of the frame, as your assurance that this is the 100% genuine article. Dard Hunter Studios, founded in 1994 by Dard Hunter III, continues the legacy of his grandfather, Dard Hunter Sr., an iconic figure in the American Arts & Crafts movement. Operating from the historic Mountain House in Chillicothe, Ohio, the studio specializes in meticulously crafted frames made from quarter sawn White Oak. Dard Hunter III personally oversees the production process, from selecting wood with optimal ray flake to transforming it into one of five moulding profiles. The studio’s commitment to quality and efficiency allows them to offer top-tier Mission style frames at competitive prices, while repurposing any wood that doesn’t meet their exacting standards.
