The Dragonfly Duet Vase was inspired by a retired Ephraim vase from 2009–The Legacy Vase. A dragonfly motif applied to the Legacy Vase design, with its sturdy handles and bold leaf sculpture, makes for something altogether new. This piece has a metalwork quality that is enhanced by an innovative glaze technique. Handmade to order. The Grand New Frond Vase is a large version and a playful companion to the popular New Frond Vase from the 2016 Studio Collection. Like the original design, this vase celebrates spring’s earliest arrival—the fiddlehead—on a structured and traditional Arts and Crafts form - inspired by the historic and iconic Grueby Faience Pottery’s fern-handled vases - circa 1910. Ephraim artists first created this classic Grueby Faience Pottery reproduction piece in 1999. This monumental vase has remained a part of our line ever since. In recent years, however, the Seven Handled Vase has been a hidden offering - only available occasionally in our galleries and upon request. We are now pleased to once again present the Seven Handled Vase - the favorite of Arts & Crafts enthusiasts and lamp makers - freshly glazed in our studio favorite organic green. Handmade to order. A lone crow poses on one of three branch handles, overlooking a moody and mysterious vista, framed by draping lichen. This piece was inspired by Ephraim artists’ trip to the West Coast, where soaring Monterey pine trees with lichen—so different from fir trees here in Wisconsin—fascinated them. This impressive piece offers a new twist - literally - on the beloved pine cone motif. Three tree limbs equally spaced around the top of the piece twist down to the shoulder, forming rustic handles. A pair of pine cones accented by long needles extends the design to nearly the full height of the piece. Handmade to order.
