Pottery Vases

  • This piece pays homage to the ground-breaking artistry of the historic Grueby Faience Company. The hallmarks of this award-winning pottery were harmony and symmetry of form and sculpture presented in richly textured organic colors. This vase, along with other pieces of Grueby-revival designs in our collection, will satisfy the aesthetic requirements of even the most die-hard Arts and Crafts purist.
  • The Amaryllis Twists Vase reinterprets the twisting buds and elegant form of the long-retired Ephraim Pottery Perennial Vase. These buds represent an about-to-bloom amaryllis, the beloved flower that brightens our homes during long, monochromatic winters. Handmade to order. Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery.
  • This Grueby-inspired vase offers classic Arts and Crafts design with all the warmth, comfort, and companionship of an old friend. Rolled under rim, elongated buds, and sculpting on five sides make this a unique variation on a timeless theme. Handmade to order. Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery.
  • The Athena Vase reinterprets one of our early pieces, the Greek Vase, on a smaller scale. A traditional Arts and Crafts leaf, bud, and teardrop motif circles around a timeless classical form, creating a pleasing symmetry. This piece is named for Athena, Greek goddess of inspiration and the arts. Handmade to order. Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery.
  • Sometimes the world’s smallest creatures deserve the most careful attention. Three little bees crown the rim of this sweet cabinet vase and invite you to notice their intricate sculpting and unique glaze application. Notice the bees’ delicate wings, the bees’ patterned bodies, the bees’ important role in the ecosystem as pollinators. Handmade to order. Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery.
  • A pair of ponderosa pines reach above misty mountain ridges, stretching their boughs into the big clear sky. Tiny and sublime, the Big Sky Cabinet Vase is a wonderful addition to our Rhythm Line collection. Handmade to order. Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery.
  • Before leaves broaden and fruit forms, trees greet spring with their beautiful blooming branches. This vase celebrates the dramatic beauty of a single blooming branch, which rests on the shoulder of a subtle and elegant, architectural vase.

Handmade to order. Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery.

  • When this vase came out of the kiln late last week, it felt like a breath of fresh air and the perfect offering for this week's POT of the Week. What symbolizes spring more than the dramatic beauty of flowering trees? The world may have come to a stand-still, but it is reassuring – especially this year – that nature forges on and more signs of spring greet us every day! Handmade to order. Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery.
  • The edges of roadways, vacant lots, and other barren and rocky places are inhospitable to all but the toughest of plants. Where others may see weeds, we see wildflowers. The creamy white of Queen Anne's Lace plays off the cool blue of chicory, dainty petals mixing with woody stalks and spiky leaves. This piece celebrates the resilient kind of beauty that thrives despite long odds. Handmade to order. Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery.
  • A simple bowing pine branch bends at the rim of this sweet vase. The flowing lines of the hand-sculpted pine branch, pine cone, and pine needles drape across the form with a sense of graceful movement, while the teardrop-shaped cutout adds an element of whimsical discovery. Handmade to order. Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery.
  • The idea for this piece came about as a result of the Fan-Built Piece experience that we held on Facebook in the spring of 2014. The form that was chosen for the Reserve Edition Hollyhock Vase here lends itself to an architectural interpretation. This piece has a strong, solid feel and clean lines. The natural world makes an appearance in the form of our favorite inquisitive bird and the earthy tones of the glaze. Handmade to order. Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery.
  • The Calla Lily, with its clean, gently curved lines, is wonderfully perfect in and of itself. Here, this symbol of purity, love, and transition bends gracefully across the vessel, gently going with the flow and celebrating life. Handmade to order. Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery.

Since 1996, Ephraim art pottery vases have been the American decorative arts standard. Our aesthetic celebrates the hand of the maker. Each is wheel-thrown, hand-sculpted, and finished with our signature in-house designed glazes. As a result, the artist is reflected in each individually-crafted vase.

Our nature-inspired art pottery vases bring the outdoors inside your home. They incorporate botanical themes such as poppies, roses, irises, violets, pine needles, pine cones, oak leaves, acorns, and ginkgo leaves. We also enjoy representing animals, such as bats, ravens, cardinals, finches, foxes, bears, mice, cats, rabbits, and other fauna, into our vases.

Are you looking for a vase that fits into a specific spot in your home? We have miniature, small, seasonal-themed, centerpiece, and tall vases, and lidded jars. Ephraim Pottery vases range from two inches tall to 15 inches tall.

Perhaps you are searching for a certain color vase to accentuate your home’s other decorative elements. Our vases come in a range of earthy colors, from greens to olives, blues and teals, and yellows and bronze. These colors can perfectly complement classic decor’s jewel tones and pick up tones in traditional plant-dyed Persian rugs. In addition, our pottery vases’ earthy colors work well as a fresh, interesting conversation piece in minimalist and modern decorative schemes.
