It is easy to see why, in the language of flowers, the lily of the valley, one of the first flowers to bloom in the spring, signifies the return of happiness. Our May Bells Tile features the beautifully delicate white flower with flowing stylized lines and Teal, Aqua, and Chestnut glazes. Hideout Tile

The small seaside town of Cambria, California holds a special place in our hearts as it is home to one of our two art pottery galleries. We often travel to Cambria—south of Big Sur and the Monterey Peninsula—and over the past ten years have found bountiful inspiration from the area. The Hideout Tile’s secluded cabin amongst the Monterey pine forest and foothills reminds us of our California connection. Handmade to order. Cat lovers have been asking for another cat design and this tile delivers! A graceful, elongated cat turns its nose toward a bowing ginkgo branch, all framed by a dramatic border. This special tile is finished in two glaze combinations–a white cat with a blue crackle glaze and a black cat with a sage/teal colorway and yellow crackle. Handmade to order. A little bat with big personality wakes from slumber against a moody sky to take wing on a vespertine voyage. Like the bat itself, the hand-thrown bottle form and detailed sculpture work provide plenty of character and charm in a small package. Handmade to order. Since we opened our West Coast Gallery in Cambria, California in 2012, we embraced natural beauty of California. Our California customers encouraged us to feature their state flower, the California Poppy and now we turn to this motif often as a source of inspiration. Here, golden-edged orange poppies encircle the top of a vase glazed in aquamarine tones evoking the Pacific Ocean. Handmade to order. Our New Frond vase is a harmonious new friend to perfectly unify your collection. This vase celebrates spring’s earliest arrival—the fiddlehead—on a structured and traditional Arts and Crafts form. Inspired by the historic and iconic Grueby Faience Pottery’s fern-handled vases circa 1910, Ephraim artists revisited the fern and leaf theme in these small, rounded vases. This vase joins our traditional line of vases in four rich patinas. Handmade to order. No two pieces of the same design look exactly alike, that’s part of the magic of handmade ceramics. The tritone is a musical interval composed of three adjacent whole tones. Ephraim artists play with a variation on this theme by creating three precisely, hand-rendered flower buds that encircle a small, soft form. The Tritone Vase is available in three glaze colors to coordinate with designs from our musically-inspired Rhythm Line, including the Revival Rose Vase the Lyrical Poppy Vase, and the Regency Poppy Vase. The studio revisits our popular Craftsman Rose motif in this tall, elegant vase. Bold architecture and abstract, stylized roses anchor the top of the vase. The strong sculpture fades into soft curves at the bottom of the form, providing a nice counterbalance. Handmade to order. Just as the sun sets and night falls, a little bat swoops upward to form the edge of this sloping vase. The cutout and manipulated rim as well as the low relief, organic sculpture of the bat impart a great amount of movement and vitality into this cabinet vase. Yellow, Aqua, and Indigo blend together beneath a golden crackle to evoke an early night sky. This is a must-have design for the bat lovers among us.  Handmade to order. No two pieces of the same design look exactly alike, that’s part of the magic of handmade ceramics.
