“It has been said that art is a tryst, for in the joy of it maker and beholder meet” – Kojiro Tomita

Earlier this year we collaborated with our fans to design a vase that represented the concept of unity. One idea we generated was the concept of a bouquet of flowers encircling the rim of a vase. For this design, Ephraim artist Laura Klein, chose irises and calla lilies to crown the rim of a tall, elegant form. In the studio we liked this concept so much that we decided to make a monumental version of this vase as an experimental.Web

The vase stands over 16 inches tall and came out of the glaze firing with a flawless glaze application. This stunning experimental vase is sold, however; we have many other beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces and wonderful variations still available. For other experimental pottery please contact our Studio Gallery at 920-648-3524 or Ephraim Pottery West at 805-924-1275.
